Niagara's Prospect Point Tower

Around Niagara, there is some stuff you just have to do. One such stuff is to hang out at Prospect Point Tower. It offers views from up high, and reaches out over the Niagara Gorge to give you some special angles on the Falls, as if you were in a low flying helicopter. Some of the shots in my American Falls post were taken from Prospect Tower. This post focuses on the tower itself and one's ability to climb a wet starcase from down at river level up towards the brink of the American Falls. With wind and pelting mist from the Falls o this staircase, I couldn't catch all that was scene.
Also in this post, I introduce my Family and several friends, who experienced Niagara with me over 10 days of fun around the July 4 holiday. In the group shot (from the upper deck of Propsect Tower with Canada in the background), you see from the left, Caroline, friend of Caitlyn (my daughter in orange with white tank top), Jacob in the arms of his Mother Natalie, Billy (Nat's son), Matthew (my son with the camera), my better half Sheryl, and Doug. This was the first time in Niagara for these friends and one of their best vacations, ever. They would agree that EVERYONE needs to see Niagara at least once in their life - for what are you waiting?
Matt, Nat, Doug and Jacob braved the wet staircase with me to catch a shower by the Falls (the kind that makes your sneakers squish the rest of the day).
It is also at the base of Prospect Tower where you can catch the Maid of the Mist boat ride from the American side (another "must see" to be featured in a future post).
